Friend to the End

They say that friendship will stop our downfall,

Unheard, I cry. The Agony of dreams:

A friend’s a friend until it is the end…
The end is now. We part our ways my friend.

Silent faint breeze

Swish swosh
Cough, sniffle

Shh…
I’m being watched,
Take a look
At yourself in the mirror
What do you see?
Asshole,
Anger in the eyes.

Face.
Internal voice screams
Walk away
Toward,
Nothing
Everything
Anything.
Why?
Pause
Pause
Rewind
Fast forward
Play
Always late.
Close eyes, the mind,

I owned nothing yesterday, nor do I own a thing today.
I only had my heart as mine, but I’ve lost that as well.

Speaking the immortal language.
I’ve seen the paths that your eyes wander down,
I want to come too.
 
Quenching that primal hunger…
To taste the lips of the lily girl,

Draped in mist,
